About

My primary artistic aim is to create ceramic pieces that embodies the natural elements, seamlessly integrating with the world around us. Using a blend of different clays and hand-sculpting round contours, I create pieces that reflect the earth's essence. Each creation is unique in size, shape, and color, often smaller in scale, perfect for adornment.

Influenced by Buddhist philosophy, I infuse my art with the concept of "affinity," seeking to foster positive connections wherever my pieces travel. Witnessing the heartwarming reactions of people encountering my work reinforces my commitment to spreading positivity and nurturing relationships through my craft.

Affinity

In Buddhism, affinity means a good relational connection between people. Through my work in pottery, I hope to build a lasting and deep affinity with people.

Shaping clay, Jee finds, is a meditation-like experience that casts a ray of inspiration. Each creation is a unique journey where she can break through the noise of life, bringing focus and energy to the piece.
